Block room reservations for January 17 (check-in) - January 20 (check-out) have been made at both the Doubletree Berkeley Marina (25 rooms) and Hotel Durant (15 rooms).
Please make your hotel reservation at your choice hotel NLT Wednesday, December 20th for Hotel Durant, and NLT Wednesday, December 27th, 5pm (Pacific Time), for the Doubletree Berkeley Marina Hotel.

The rate is $111 *** (single). Internet access is free. Parking is $12 per day.
To make your reservation, please call the hotel at (510) 845-8981 NLT Wednesday, December 20th . To obtain the special discount rate, please mention the group confirmation # S60000 and/or that you are with the "SNAP" group. You will then need to give them your credit card information to make the reservation.

The rate is $111*** (for either single or double). The block room reservation is for January 17 (check-in) - January 20 (check-out). Parking is free. Internet access in the lobby area is free, $9.99/day in guest rooms. Please make your reservations by phone or online NLT Wednesday, December 27th, 5pm (Pacific Time).
By phone, please call 1-800-243-0625 or 1-510-548-7920. To obtain the special discount rate, mention that you are with the "SNAP" group (3 letter code: LSC). You will need to give them your credit card information to make the reservation.
To book online, please follow these steps:
1. Go to http://www.berkeleymarina.doubletree.com .
2. Click the "Check Availability" option on the right hand side.
3. Select the dates (within the contracted dates) that you wish to stay.
4. Scroll down and look for the Group/Convention Code.
5. Enter LSC code and you're all set!
*** Please note that $111 rate is above the GSA maximum lodging rate of $94 for this area. Unfortunately, we were not able to negotiate a lower rate. Please check with your institutions whether they will be able to reimburse you at this higher rate.
ALS Apartment (1 unit available):
We also have one ALS (Advanced Light Source) apartment unit reserved for January 17 - 20. This is a two bedroom apartment unit complete with a kitchen and a living room. There are two beds in each room. For single occupancy, the room is $83.50 per night. For double occupancy, it is $47.50 per night. We can accommodate up to 4 persons with double occupancy per each room, or 2 with single occupancy per each room. If you are interested in staying at the ALS, please let me know by email (snap@lbl.gov), if you are interested in the double occupancy or single. The deadline for this response is NLT December 20th .
